Tampa, FL—July 14, 2008—Acclaris, the leader in CDH-enabling technology and services, announced that it has been awarded a major contract to develop and manage an integrated tuition assistance plan for a Global Fortune 500 communications firm. Acclaris was selected for the multi-million dollar, three-year agreement based on its proven track record with other Fortune 500 clients, along with the innovative design of its highly configurable tuition platform.
Upon completion, the platform will streamline the application and approval process for more than 25,000 corporate employees. Acclaris’ plan design, backed by a robust rules engine, easily accommodates a host of complex guidelines, including union regulations, applicant tracking, and grade-based payment.
“Acclaris has a proven track record of simplifying the complexities of employee benefits plans,” said Mark Whittington, CEO of Acclaris. “With our combination of product expertise and powerful technology, we are confident in our ability to execute this agreement to the highest standards of efficiency and quality.”
The implementation calls for the integration of several separate legacy tuition programs into a single, unified platform that manages applications, approvals and reimbursements. Acclaris will also provide claims processing and dedicated customer service. The solution offers significant flexibility and positions the client for future expansion of its tuition reimbursement program.
Acclaris specializes in managing consumer-driven healthcare accounts, but its platform also supports more than 20 other complex benefits plans such as this one. In all applications, Acclaris delivers greater visibility into usage and expenses, helping clients mitigate risks and reduce costs.
